Sadly it happens. After ~2 years safe, we were once again caught up in a wave. 
If this was targeted or not, still remains to be decided, but we are looking to gather some extra info from those affected.

Comments: Mix between toons, grinding/farming and fishing. Did notice some fishy behaviour when trying fish in secluded spots of people appearing and "observing" but also fishing. Promptly mounted and moved spots.

Comments: I strictly ran Herb/Mining gathering profiles that I wrote myself, while using a CR that I wrote myself.  I have avoided using other's profiles to stay more inconspicuous.

Did you use the launcher? Unsure , i use launcher then it made a different .exe to hide the program within a program. I used that

Did you launch the bot before the game? Mixed. Sometimes WoW first, sometimes the bot.

Comments: New person here. Only been botting a week. Only really used the bot for 2 days. 1 8hour day and 1 10hr day(Herbing / mining Uldum). Did use it a little bit before but nothing consistent just to see what it was about. Did a leveling profile but due to changes to zones in cata none of the old world stuff worked.

Comments: I ran side by side with main on same computer.  Would leave unattended for an hour or so while doing work around house.  I did do 2 overnight bot sessions in that span.  I will say the day before ban I did get a few random messages from a person, that I did not see, but prior to that no one had ever messaged me.  Both my main account (never botted on) and bot account were banned.

As of 07/15 WEPW has undergone security updates introducing various measure to avoid detection including a warden scanner. 


WEPW is currently safe again. As such I'll close this thread.
